1. A GATHERING MARKED BY THE PRESENCE OF GOD
The 5th Anniversary of JIMS HEROES opened with an atmosphere charged with reverence and expectation. Rev. Yayra JIMS laid the foundation by reminding the generation that the Glory of GOD is not a distant hope but our destiny in Christ. “If you want heaviness in your spirit, you must carry the heaviness of GOD’s Presence,” he declared. He called every young believer to a lifestyle of intimacy with God, emphasizing that our existence itself is meant to reveal His Glory. With passion, he urged the youth to become lovers of Jesus, not merely lovers of church culture or religion, but genuine seekers of Christ. The opening day closed with a renewed awareness that carrying the Presence of GOD is the most powerful identity a believer can have.
2. A CALL TO IDENTITY, REVELATION, AND MISSION
The second day led the entire assembly into a deeper understanding of identity and purpose. Rev. Yayra JIMS emphasized that the world’s only hope of seeing GOD’s Glory is through the sons and daughters He has raised. “You cannot manifest beyond the Glory you carry,” he taught, highlighting that revelation is the foundation of transformation. Without a life grounded in the Word, there can be no spiritual growth and no true expression of Christ. He encouraged the youth to take ownership of their spiritual journey: “May you know GOD by yourself!”
In the evening, Rev. Debra-Yayra JIMS brought a prophetic and missional fire to the conference. She declared boldly that the Gospel is not reserved for pastors alone; every believer is mandated to proclaim the works of Christ. She reminded the youth that their identity is rooted in GOD’s Name and GOD’s Glory, and everything in their lives : gifts, relationships, opportunities, exists for His honor. Her message culminated in a powerful charge to arise and shine, carrying the “APAOGASMA“, the radiance of Christ, into every sphere of the nation.
The day continued with Pastor Mawunyo Win-Tamakloe, who taught on sustaining GOD’s Glory through character, forgiveness, faith, and obedience. GOD is looking for men and women whose character can honor His Presence and preserve the fire He ignites in them. He reminded the youth that walking in GOD’s Glory includes expressing His goodness in everyday life, peace of mind, health, joy, and prosperity are not mere blessings but manifestations of His Glory. He challenged the participants to abandon unforgiveness, bitterness, pride, and anything that leads to darkness, for “there is no glory in hatred.” Trusting the Word, rejoicing even in difficult seasons, and responding to GOD with faith rather than tradition were presented as signs of a life anchored in His Glory.
The day concluded in a powerful atmosphere of worship led by Minister Kekeli SEDEFIA, ushering the entire assembly into deep adoration. Worship flowed freely as the youth responded to everything they had heard, offering themselves again to GOD. It was a moment of surrender, unity, and overflowing gratitude—an ending that marked hearts and sealed the teachings with the Presence of GOD.
3. A JOYFUL CELEBRATION OF THANKSGIVING
The third and final day of JIMS HEROES 2024 was a beautiful celebration of gratitude and worship. Being a Sunday service, it was dedicated entirely to honoring the LORD for His faithfulness over the past five years of JIMS HEROES.
The atmosphere was filled with joy, unity, and reverence as the JimsFamily celebrated not only what GOD had done during these three days, but what He has been doing throughout the last half-decade. The service ended with a renewed commitment to continue carrying His Glory, serving His Kingdom, and shining His light wherever He sends us.
